Engine cut failsafes?

I recently blew my engine due to a faulty fuel injector. Sad

So I'm looking at getting a J&S Safeguard knock controller. It supposedly retards timing by up to 20 degrees, if it detects knock. But I'd like to take it a step further as well. What I'd like to do is wire its knock input into Neptune RTP and if the controller has to take out close to 20 degrees, then I'd like to cut fuel and ignition to save the motor.

Is there a way to do this? If not, I suppose I could just add a controller that takes input from the knock controller and opens the circuits to the ignition control module and injector lines.
