Anti-theft help

8400rpm Thu Jun 21, 2018 8:28 am

Good day. I would kindly like some help on how to set up anti theft for the first time.
I would like to press the throttle 3 times in order to start vehicle. Ive tried entering 3 into the first row ie: tps 3, brake 0, tps 0 with advanced anti theft enabled.
The car does not fire up even though i press throttle 3 times while ignition is on.

What am i doing wrong?

Do i need to enter an input in one of the three 'required input' tabs or can i leave it at 'none' and just use the tps setting alone.

My car does not have the brake switch wired to ecu. If it is compulsory to enter a 'required input', which one do you suggest?

You can see Anti-Theft as an item in the datalist while datalogging to verify you're properly meeting criteria. The additional input is for a switch if you want to wire one up.

Ok so i viewed item as on/off light.

It shows as anti theft 'on' (ign is on). It then reads the 3 tps pushes then changes to 'off', but as soon as i crank, the light changes to 'on' again and car does not start.

Perhaps have any insight on this?

That would suggest your ECU is resetting during cranking, so you have an external issue to track down, if all other data is still updating in real-time.
