dtapia Mon Feb 22, 2016 4:12 am

Hello, Im currently running an original version of Neptune from 2006ish I believe and im wanting to transfer to RTP so I can datalog ect.. I already have a new Demon 2 kit from Moates with Neptune RTP license purchased last year that im ready to install. My question is am I able to transfer my tune from my original Neptune chip to the RTP and how do I go about doing this?

We had an RTP version in 2006 so I'm not sure I follow completely. If you mean chip version from 2006, no that won't transfer.

I'm sorry, yes it's a chip. Is there a way for me to see the parameters of my current tune on that chip and just manually copy it to the RTP?

Only a dealer can open that and if it was made in 2006 the version has been deprecated a long time ago.

So I'll need to get a retune in order to run rtp? Or would a dealer be able to do the transfer?

No transfer. If your setup hasn't changed in 10 years I'm not sure you need the RTP kit anyway. Smile

Lol would be a hell of a reliable tune story haha.. it was initially a d16 turbo setup in 06.. in 2014 the setup was changed to a b18 turbo setup and tuned in March of 14. Unfortunately I was one of the last tunes my tuner (Jeremy with Servion Tuning) did before he decided to stop tuning so I can't get a hold of him to see what steps I needed to take to get going on this rtp I just purchased. Also looks like I need to source a new tuner that's a Neptune dealer.

Ahhh, he would have updated you in 2014. In that case your tune can be read by a dealer and transferred over. We do have other dealers in Colorado you can contact to help you out.

Yeah I'll give some of the other dealers a call and see who can get it taken care of. Thank you for all your help! By far the best customer service I've had. Very Happy
