Hi everybody, since a long time i didn't gave any news, but everything is working great Very Happy

I didn't find the time to work more on my map, as Something very sad happened to me this summer Crying or Very sad

What i can say about the Strange spikes is that i saw that sometimes my clutch was sleeping Under big load and when it was hot... but i knew that the clutch disc was in good condition, so after setting the clutch pedal, there's less "spikes"...

I'm not sure that these two problems are related, but for the moment i won't look closer as it is winter and working outside is a bit hard for me Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

So actually i have another question, once again ( boring french... Rolling Eyes ) , there's Something i didn't understand about the software : what is exactly the " tip-in ignition correction" for ???

I uderstand that it remove ignition Under certain circumstance but why do whe need to remove ignition if we open throttle? Does it smooth the engine?

I know it surely sound stupid but i've done some research and didn't find any answer, i don't want to set Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks for the answer and have a nice year end! Very Happy

Slipping clutch is no good!

It smooths the transition when you press the pedal quickly.

Still no update by my side, still busy with my job Embarassed

Just have a question, in way to tune properly my engine ( now it is a H22A7, mounted in it's original car) , i am looking for a Knock gauge.
Do you know a good Knock gauge which can work with the OEM sensor?
If not, which gauge would you recommend to me?

Thanks a lot! Very Happy

I would recommend more than just a knock gauge, but rather, a knock system, the J&S Safeguard unit. It can retard ignition timing on individual cylinders, and other features. It can work with some oem sensors, and works very well with a Bosch flat (donut-style) knock sensor. John from J&S is very helpful too.

I didn't really decided yet which way i'm going to take, so i'll take a look at the J&S safeguard too Very Happy

I have tried to set up the "on board logging" function and i Wonder if i have to select the "autolog" to "on" if i want to record Something .

Thanks a lot! Very Happy

Autologging in preferences is for the PC software to automatically datalog.

On board logging is setup in the ROM and on the device through the software. See the On Board Logging topic in NepTune Help in the Parameters section.

Hello! Very Happy

Actually i'm experiencing a very Strange rev-cutting issue Crying or Very sad , some times, at high load, engine is hesitating and won't rev over 5500 rpm and i don't know why.
I don't have any error code and all the parameters seems correct so i don't know what to do.

I have recorded the problem with neptune so i have a .dlg file with the problem, so if somebody here can help me to diagnoze the problem, it will be great! Very Happy

Thanks a lot!

edit: a picture may help

If it's a VTEC engine, you don't appear to be in VTEC.

Thanks for your answer, it is an H22A7 engine and here's another picture of the parameters when the problem appears:

As you can see, the vtec light is not "on" but there's the "FCUT" light ( i suppose that it is the fuel cut) .
If i uderstand correctly, all the conditions are not yet met to engage vtec , so it is normal that vtec doesn't engage at this moment.
Do you suggest to modify the "low load value" ? Could it be the cause of the fuel cut?

Thanks a lot for your help! Very Happy

So if your low rev limit for two step is less than your low load VTEC engagement you will hit the rev limit before you engage VTEC. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's the case here.
