Tunerview II Black Screen

HeikDiesel Wed Mar 20, 2013 12:15 am

I recently removed my ECU to remove the two resistors so I could run my wide band into the ELD input. After installing the ECU back, my tunerview's screen doesn't work anymore. I've verified that I have a good 12v supply and ground to the demon module. From the module to the tunerview 3 pins have .265V. Tunerview will power up and say "Connecting" when powered by the top usb program port. Do I need a new demon module? Help would be appreciated. Thank you

Removing those two resistors wouldn't have anything to do with this. You can see if Moates will check out your Demon module. That's likely the issue unless you plugged the cables back in to the wrong side of the module.

Is there anything that I can do to test the module myself rather than send it off? I might just order another one. Shipping back and forth would probably be half the cost of a new one

Power and ground are next to each other on the cable. You see where by looking at the TunerView connector since it's labeled. If neither side measures 5v between those two pins then you know. Also, make sure you're using the middle port on the TunerView.

I'd have to pull my dash to check the power at my tunerview. I haven't messed with any of that so I know the arrangement of the wires and the location on the center port is correct. I ordered a new module. I'll update you on this when I recieve it. Thank you
