You have two units that have failed under your care, that's 100% failure rate for your installation. I have about 800 of these TunerView II units out in the world and less than 8 have ever been sent in for repair/replacement, that's less than 1% failure rate. If I find that you have damaged the components it's not covered by warranty. If I can't identify the problem and I replace it for you, but you manage to damage it again, I can't cover that under warranty. That is not a warranty issue and that's not a problem with my unit. A warranty covers defects. It's very simple. You need to send them in to find out, as I'm happy to check them out for you. Send everything in, including the Hondata module.

What I'm saying is since you don't know what's causing the problem I would suggest selling the units if they're replaced under warranty. That way there's no chance that you can damage another unit and lose out.

I send 2 LCD but only one of them is having warranty. another post just to give budget.

Now speaking of the LCD that I bought through a supplier here in Portugal, but this is in warranty and in good condition so it worked 10minutes.

My supplier sent to XENECON to assess the situation and they told me they could not replace under warranty.

Now talking about the Hondata module already sent a new coming.

I hope now you have understood what I meant

if you want the vendor name I'll tell you

thank you

I don't understand. I'm the only one who can check it out. Have it sent to me at the address on the contact page. Send it with the Hondata module.

And as I stated have it sent to me. By him, by you, whoever.

Do the LEDs in the Hondata module come on when powered? Without the module I can't verify that everything is working properly. You could have damaged that as well.

I understand, but only send the LCD to Xenacron thought you were doing part of Xenacron, I send by the person who sold me but they do not like the interface Hondata asked me not to send, but not hurt friend because I already bought another interface Hondata and I will not put the old interface that will Hondata out.

I am now waiting for the report of Xenacron but for all I know they will not be held responsible for the LCD so it seems to me that are sold loose the warranty.

you can help me with this situation as they can talk?

regards

Have them send it to me. If Ben @ ImportParts is who you're dealing with he's already sent them to me.

I'm sorry you're having trouble understanding, but I've been pretty clear on what I need here. I need your units sent to me.

If Xenocron has your displays YOU need to tell them to send the displays to me.

I've contacted Xenocron and they said that they had already sent the 2 LCD's to you (HRTunning).
Xenocron also informed me that the 2 LCD's should get there by the end of this week or the beginning of next week.

I'll wait for your report

Best Regards

You must mean Ben @ ImportParts, not Xenocron... which I asked about several posts ago. Xenocron hasn't sent me anything. Ben @ ImportParts has sent me two red TunerViews.

You damaged the LCD alone, the TunerView controller works just fine still. One of the following was the cause: electrostatic discharge, grounding the pins on the front, or over powering the unit. None of these things are covered under warranty as the unit itself did not fail. I'm discussing your options with Ben @ ImportParts. You'll be informed from there.
